Charities Worth Mentioning
The Knights of Columbus Dallas Council 12287 is at it again.
Food drives for the people of Paulding County. These men work tirelessly, giving their free time to stand in rain, cold, scorching hot days, and busy week ends outside of grocery stores for the sake of those in need.
Endless hours, thousands of pounds of food, all added and loaded into vans and donated. Free tootsie rolls are given out and good fine folks are not asked to donate, but always do. One generous woman brought a whole cart (buggy) of food and simply handed it over to the Knights. Bless her heart!
Someone was going to eat well that night, and had laundry detergent to boot!
Grand Knight Steve is doing a marvelous job as head of this wonderful organization!
